Angels of Deception
Between Heaven and Hell
A look at the UFO phenomenon through the eyes of the Bible

Chapter 1 - War of the Worlds
So you are wondering about UFOs? You are probably wondering, if the Bible is true, if it’s really the Word of God, then what are UFOs? Are they real? Are they mentioned in the Bible? Why do so many people report seeing such similar things? And if they are real, then what are they, and how do they tie into the Bible?
This short book will answer these questions and more. But first the reader will have to approach the subject with an open mind; If you currently have a conception the UFO phenomena is “alien” space travelers, this might be because you are being misled--intentionally-- to believe they are something they are not.
It is quite interesting to note that reports of modern day “flying saucers” aka, UFOs have been reported throughout all history—with one significant point—that when this phenomena is reported and even recorded, it is always interpreted through the eyes of the current culture. For example, there are many similarities and parallels of today’s modern UFO reports with fairies, leprechauns (little green men), devils, etc from mid-evil times. What’s more, there are many similarities of today’s UFO reports with appearances of angels in the Bible.
Is it possible that these are all reports of the same phenomena, only interpreted through the eyes of the current culture?
When this phenomenon is reported, but interpreted through the eyes of the current culture, it has a very significant and powerful effect. It has an immediate effect upon its current culture of the time, while it is scoffed at, ridiculed and inevitably discounted and ignored by future generations. The phenomenon thus becomes hidden from their view and remains in the past. Being cloaked in the past in this manner prevents future generations from being alerted to any danger. Why would they if its not taken seriously? What if this were intentionally set up this way in order to create a smoke- screen so that future generations who might look back on these reports would discard them as fantasies and fairy tales, thus disguising the deliberate deceptions that were perpetrated on the previous cultures? It would be a very powerful and effective way for the force behind the UFO phenomena to “cover its tracks” while enjoying the full affects of the influence it could exert on an unsuspecting people. It would be like a rapist in disguise going about his evil work throwing anyone off his trail who might be on the look out for him. He might laugh if he were a thin man who wore a fat suit and read the wanted posters describing him as weighing 150 more pounds than actual weight.
When mankind goes to war, he
often employs psychological warfare techniques to deceive and divert the
enemy. During World War II the Allies are famous for doing this before
If Man can think up such deceptions, what could a superior intelligence do?
Reasons to believe they are deceiving us:
With hundreds, perhaps even thousands of reported cases of “abductees”, the UFO message is always different. One abductee reports the UFO occupants say they are from Mars, another from Venus, another from a different galaxy. And they are reported to come from entirely different galaxies. They report they are from “everywhere”. They report they are from under the sea, etc, etc. No two stories ever match. And as any good police detective knows, if you split up the suspects to get their stories and they don’t match, one or both are lying.
What if these “aliens” were presenting themselves in such a manner so as to cause the rational human mind to reject the very notion of other dimensions? What if these cases were an advanced intelligence’s missions of psychological warfare?
What is they wanted us to believe there was no such thing as the spiritual realms, no God, no heaven, no hell--only the physical universe and beings from other planets?
Let’s play a game for a moment. If you were one of these beings, how would you get into the human mind to cause their belief-- or equally as powerful, their disbelief in something? If your goal is to put certain beliefs into a society or culture the tools of your trade will not be guns and bullets, but will be psychological instruments. Remember, you are not aiming for physical results, but psychological and spiritual results in their minds.
After all, “God is Spirit and His worshippers must worship in Spirit and in truth.” (John 4:24)
“Little green men”
You may be wondering why this is an important subject. You may be wondering what is the significance, if any, of belief in UFOs and what harm could come from it. Maybe you think that any concern is unfounded and needlessly alarmist.
Even as I write this, I take a break to watch the History Channel on cable TV and I flip on a show about "extraterrestrials" and the Bible. The first thing that hits me as I am watching, is a catholic priest being interviewed on the subject and he tells me that when Moses went up on Mount Sinai and saw the fiery pillar and cloud that he actually was entering a flying saucer and was encountering what he called "extraterrestrials". This priest gave a similar explanation to Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration. This too, according to his view, was an encounter with "extraterrestrials" aboard a flying saucer.
The presence of the UFO phenomenon in our culture is acting as a very subtle, yet very powerful paradigm shift--- a change in traditional and historical views on how we see the world and our existence—a shift in our views of God and His Word as recorded in the Bible. There is a very powerful change taking place that is changing our belief systems and is spreading like gangrene. What was once thought of as God is now being thought of as "extraterrestrials" as evidenced by the catholic priest on the episode of the History Channel just mentioned. This belief is spreading throughout all Christian denominations very subtly and causing many to reinterpret the writings of Holy Scripture in a way that is leading multitudes away from faith in the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
Paradigm shift: The term "paradigm shift" has found uses in several contexts, representing the notion of a major change in a certain thought-pattern — a radical change in personal beliefs, complex systems or organizations, replacing the former way of thinking or organizing with a radically different way of thinking or organizing.
Is it a duck? Is it a rabbit? How do you look at it?
"The subject of a gestalt demonstration knows that his perception has shifted because he can make it shift back and forth repeatedly while he holds the same book or piece of paper in his hands. Aware that nothing in his environment has changed, he directs his attention increasingly not to the figure (duck or rabbit) but to the lines of the paper he is looking at. Ultimate he may even learn to see those lines without seeing either of the figures, and he may then say (what he could not legitimately have said earlier) that it is these lines that he really sees but that he sees them alternately as a duck and as a rabbit. ...As in all similar psychological experiments, the effectiveness of the demonstration depends upon its being analyzable in this way. Unless there were an external standard with respect to which a switch of vision could be demonstrated, no conclusion about alternate perceptual possibilities could be drawn." -- Thomas Kuhn, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions (3rd edn., p. 114).
